Narrative
Describe in detail what happened including the concern or potential issue, the environment (weather, terrain, fire behavior, etc), and the resulting health issue.
At approx 0815 on 7Nov23 the dispatch center attempted to open WildCAD-E, our daily resource tracking program, using the FamAuth portal (iwfirp.nwcg.gov) and it failed to load. After clicking on the WildCAD-E tile in the Wildland Fire Application Portal, the WildCAD-E splash screen opened then it went back to the FamAuth login screen again. At the time, all the application that are accessed from the Wildland Fire Application Portal failed to load. As the day progressed, it became intermittant, where some applications would load for some people but we were not able to reliably access the programs we need to use on a daily basis (WildCAD-E, IROC, WIMS). On 8Nov23, more of the programs were available to more people but it was still not reliable and there didn't appear to be any type of pattern on who could access the applications and who couldn't, as well as which applications were working for various people. On 9Nov23 there are still issues with some people being able to access at least WildCAD-E through the Wildland Fire Application Portal. 1 person in the office is able to at this time, after several attempts, while others are not able to.

I have cleared browser history several times and tried the alternative method of using Login.gov instead of e-Authenticate, with neither working.

This has been blocking my access to a program that we use daily for incident creation, resource tracking, as well as other daily tasks. Fortunately we do not currently have any wildland fires occurring but if this happens during the core fire season it could negatively impact our ability to be able to support firefighting resources on the ground.

"They" have put most of the programs dispatch centers use into the Wildland Fire Application Portal, with no alternate method of accessing them, so when there are issues with FAMAuth or the Wildland Fire Application Portal we are not able to access these programs as needed. This is not the first time this has happened this year, I believe it was in late Sep or early Oct when it happened before, and that was a 24 hour outage. We are now at 48 hours and counting that this issues has been affecting our access to required programs. It seems to be limited to WildCAD-E at this time but it needs to be fixed AND mitigated so we have an alternate way to access the programs when FAMAuth or Wildland Fire Application Portal fail again.
Immediate Action Taken
Reporting Individual : please describe actions you took to correct or mitigate the unsafe/unhealthful event.
Ensured that if/when someone was/is able to access WildCAD-E that they stay in the program so they don't lose access.
