Narrative
Describe in detail what happened including the concern or potential issue, the environment (weather, terrain, fire behavior, etc), and the resulting health issue.
We have a type 1 helicopter assigned to the Mill Mountain fire who tried hitting us on National Flight Follow but was unable to. We must have open communication with aircraft on the incident and are unable to. We are having to place an extra burden on Georgia Interagency Coordination Center to get them to flight follow our resource for us.
Immediate Action Taken
Reporting Individual : please describe actions you took to correct or mitigate the unsafe/unhealthful event.
Our center manager has placed a ticket in to get the radios fixed after and I have filed this SafeNet.
