| The LEI on the Forest, have both a handheld (HH) and Mobile Relm radio in their vehicles that they can use. The issues is they use the Motorola HH because of the blue tooth capability. From their Motorola HH they link to the vehicle mobile to Dispatch. The problem is they get to far away from the vehicle and the link weakens which causes poor transmission. LEI does have some extenders in their vehicles, Futurecom VRX1000. 3ea. in R8. This could be a possible solution for this safenet? In addition I have spoken with Special Agent In Charge who is in contact with National LEI Program Manager and they are aware of this issue. |
