Narrative

Describe in detail what happened including the concern or potential issue, the environment (weather, terrain, fire behavior, etc), and the resulting health issue.

In the last few months all of our Law Enforcement officers were issue new Motorola Handheld and mobile radios that are not supported by the Forest Service. The radios most of the time are hard to copy and unreadable. Their radios sound like the transmit volume is loud and distorted. Their radios cut off in the middle of their transmissions. All these issues are safety issues for the officer. If dispatch can't hear them we can't help them.
