Describe in detail what happened including the concern or potential issue, the environment (weather, terrain, fire behavior, etc), and the resulting health issue.
AN UNTIMELY NETWORK/SERVER MAINTENANCE DURING WORK HOURS DURING FIRE SEASON CAUSING A PREDICTED 4 HOUR OUTAGE. THE DAY OF THE OUTAGE WAS AFTER A LIGHTNING EVENT AND WHILE RESOURCES ARE MOVING ABOUT IN THE FIELD. THE OUTAGE AFFECTED FAMAUTH WHICH HOSTS THE ACCESS TO MOST OF THE ESSENTIAL APPLICATIONS AND PROGRAMS NEEDED TO SAFELY DISPATCH, TRACK, MOBILIZE, AND DOCUMENT ACTIVITY AFFECTING LOCAL, STATE, AND NATIONAL EMERGENCY WILDFIRE RESPONSE AND SUPPORT.

LUCKILY THERE WERE FOLKS ABLE TO SIGN IN PRIOR TO THE OUTAGE ABLE TO COVER MOST OF THE DUTIES. THIS REPRESENTS 1/3 TO 1/2 OF THE ACCESS STAFF NEEDED TO SAFELY FULLFILL THE DUTIES OF INITIAL AND EXTENDED DISPATCH OPERATIONS.
