While assigned to the Garnet Fire on the Sierra National Forest our incident communication received four false alarm text to 911 calls over a period of several days. The trend seems to be a text to 911 dispatch center. We are currently working in Fresno County and the Sierra National Forest. The text 911 goes to either Fresno Sherrif office or Frenso Kings Ranger Unit of Cal Fire. The dispatch is able to get a GPS location which places the call geographically within our responsibility. The dispatch center has been sending a full response into our fire area, and our communications have been responding units as well. These 911 text have all been unfounded. Sometimes the numbers can be tracked down and specific information has been given via texts. We have received call types, unit numbers, agencies, specific descriptions. Some of this seems to be artificial intelligence. This has taken significant time away from the incident as well as adding code three equipment into an already hazardous area. All radio traffic is prioritized while an accountability check has been done on the incident.
