Network System Breakdown
Narrative
Describe in detail what happened including the concern or potential issue, the environment (weather, terrain, fire behavior, etc), and the resulting health issue.
We have been having issues with our phones for a while now. We've have people actively working on it and trying to figure out the issue. Today during fire operations support the entire network went down affecting dispatch and the entire Supervisors Office. This impedes our efforts to effectively get the fire what they need, to take new smoke reports, and many other support functions that we support. Our phones our consistently going in and out, pixelating, dropping, and completely shutting down.
Immediate Action Taken
Reporting Individual : please describe actions you took to correct or mitigate the unsafe/unhealthful event.
Cell phones were utilized, text messages were sent out, radios utilized more, tickets were put in, and Safenet filed.
