Narrative
Describe in detail what happened including the concern or potential issue, the environment (weather, terrain, fire behavior, etc), and the resulting health issue.
Our internet commonly goes down through out the week multiple times a day. This happens while needing to dispatch ground and air resources to emergencies such as fires. It impacts our ability to do every aspect of our job. The internet speed is also an issue. I just ran a speed test and it came back with 6.5 Mbps download speed and 9.5 upload speed. We are regularly dealing with delays in things loading that cause delays in us being able to dispatch equipment and aircraft.

When the internet goes down we are unable to use vital programs such as WildCad, IROC, Automated Flight Following and many others

We use our applications accountability, safety, ordering and tracking of resources. The modern dispatch environment is all internet based. It is very important that we have proper internet services and speed in order to do our job.

When we have active incidents it becomes a safety issue for the resources committed to these incident as they use North Coast dispatch as there safety net for medical incidents and resource tracking.
