Narrative
Describe in detail what happened including the concern or potential issue, the environment (weather, terrain, fire behavior, etc), and the resulting health issue.
While prepping Cedar Lake Rx unit, our assignment was to safe up any hazards near our blow/ hand line and powerline right of way. On the side slope of drainage a dead tree (pine snag) was threatening the handline, it was a hazard for personnel and for causing possible spot fire or falling across the line. All bases were covered pertaining to OHLEC, a poor decision and misjudgment of the height of the tree was made and struck a powerline. When the tree fell on the power line we immediately shut off the saw and cleared the scene of all personnel in a safe manner without any injuries. We then contacted our Supervisor and authorities of the power company. Ceased all chainsaw ops and Performed AAR.

*Falling Team entailed- one FAL B and one FAL A.
