| Regional Risk Management is responding to this Safenet and has met with the Incident Safety Officers, and is in communication with the R5 Assistant Director-Incident Administration. Unfortunately, due to the on-going Pandemic and other related factors that are beyond our control, there are real-time impacts that are occurring. Nationally caterers are in short supply. In addition, hiring experienced personnel this year has been extremely challenging for these contractors and the impacts are showing up. The Pacific Southwest Region and Incident Management Teams are aware of these issues, and are working diligently to improve the situation, working with the caterers, developing and implementing new practices, and work-arounds to the best of their abilities. |
