| Regional Fire Management Officer consulted with the Zone Fire Management Officer to gather intel on the North of HQ prescribed burn. In addition to the natural resource benefits of this prescribed fire, there were also visitor experience and fire management educational benefits. Interpretive Rangers and Law Enforcement Rangers were briefed by the Burn Boss on their crowd control roles during their engagement with visitors. These roles during future prescribed burns involving public visitor interface will continue to be reiterated during the Burn Boss briefings. |
