| The Almagre repeater system on the Pike RD has been having some major failures. The CIO local technician has visited the site three times this past week due to transmitter failures. There is a little bit of history with this building. It was originally located on Green Mt and had similar problem. While located there it had similar failures and the system was overhauled. Due to access issues with that location the building was transferred to the Alamgre location. After the building was relocated the system was completely over hauled once again. The building was placed a couple weeks ago and has had several transmitters fail since then. We have isolated the problem to be in the factory installed DC surge protection and have ordered the replacement parts. |
